What is it?
The E-T Gage simulates evapotranspiration (evaporation
plus transpiration) of
turfgrass and allows irrigation managers to more accurately
assess the quantity of irrigation water to apply each night.
The amount of water lost through E-T is measured by reading
the site tube which is mounted on the side of the water reservoir
cylinder. Distilled water from this reservoir is supplied
to a green, cloth covered ceramic evaporation disk which will
lose water at the same rate as natural turfgrass evaportranspiration.
