new variable speed Makita FAST-GRIND™ is a high performance
commercial duty 4 1/2" Disc Grinder with
a customized attachment to facilitate front edge-bed-knife
grinding. Attachment can be easily removed.
Variable speed model allows user to
change grinding speed from 2800 rpm
to 10,500 rpm.
The new Makita FAST-GRIND™
cordless model has a slower operating speed and is less
aggressive than its' bigger brother. This model can be used
on the course to make field repairs. The cordless model
comes complete with a charger and (1) battery. The battery
is good for about 15 minutes of continuous grinding.
The FAST-GRIND™ attachment enables
the operator to grind a square front edge on the bed-knife.
Adjustable pin moves the reel blade ahead of grinding
disc.
